West Coast LEAF Speaker's Bureau
The West Coast Women's Legal Education and Action Fund announces
that the '94-'95 Speakers Bureau is available this fall for
a new series of presentations about LEAF and its work. We
provide trained speakers who will address your group about
LEAF's work to advance equality rights for women. The purpose
of the Speaker's Bureau Program is threefold:
- To increase awareness and to educate the public about
women's equality issues.
- To increase awareness and to educate the public about
LEAF and the work that it does to promote the status of
women in Canada by using the Charter of Rights and other
legislation.
- To increase support from the community in the form of
financial contributions, volunteer assistance and memberships,
by increasing the public's understanding of women's equality
issues and LEAF's ongoing work.
If your group would like to host a LEAF speaker, contact
the West Coast LEAF office at 684-8772 or fax at 684-1543.
